 Allen Onyema is a Nigerian businessman, lawyer, philanthropist, and founder of Air Peace, a Nigerian airline. He was born on October 31, 1964, in Mbosi, Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State, Nigeria.


Onyema studied law at the University of Ibadan and was called to the Nigerian bar in 1987. He later obtained a Master's degree in Law from the University of Lond in 1993.


In 2013, Onyema founded Air Peace airline, which has since grown to become the largest airline in Nigeria, with a fleet size of over 30 aircraft. 

Air Peace operates both domestic and international flights. The airline's headquarters are located in Lagos, Nigeria. Air Peace operates a fleet of Boeing and Embraer aircraft that serve destinations across Nigeria, West Africa and Dubai. The airline has won several awards for its excellent customer service and safety record. Air Peace is committed to providing affordable and reliable air travel services to its customers, while also contributing to the development of Nigeria's aviation industry.


Onyema is also known for his philanthropic work. In 2019, he made headlines when he volunteered a Boeing 777 aircraft to evacuate Nigerians stranded in South Africa following xenophobic attacks.


Onyema is the recipient of several awards and recognition, including the National Productivity Order of Merit Award by the Federal Government of Nigeria in 2014, and the prestigious Zik Prize in Business Leadership in 2019.
