Our Way Of Life

The story we will someday tell,

Was how Africanism almost fell.

Civilization took our ways like a thief,

In an African Way, some  call me a naive.

Many claiming to be sagacious,

Calling my way of life, irreligious.

With this act, some said I am a clown,

Oh! Civilization taught them that in the town.

I have a culture and my own religion,

Don't judge what I practice in my region.

Whether my way of life is good or bad,

Keep mute to judge, you are not my God.

You claimed the Europeans way of life,

Yet pay in an African way to have a wife.

With the act, you practiced Africanism,

What you did  was cultural charlatanism.

Let's teach our children the African's cultures

Our culture won't die, and be eaten by vultures.

This is an open-secret, that most be told,

To the next Africans our culture will be unfold.
