A prisoner of demonic thoughts I am,
Trapped within my own mind's cruel game.
A labyrinth of darkness and despair,
Where hope is but a flicker, a rare affair.
The demons dance and mock me so,
Whispering lies that I come to know,
Invisible chains bind me tight,
As I struggle to see the light.
Their claws dig deep into my soul,
Their voices like thunder, out of control,
I try to break free, but to no avail,
Trapped in their grip, my will does fail.
The demons paint a picture of doom,
In my mind, their whispers loom,
A constant battle within my head,
Fighting to rise from this abyss, this dread.
But hope, like a tiny spark, remains,
A glimmer of light, that nothing can restrain,
I hold on tight, to this tiny flame,
Fighting for freedom, fighting to reclaim.
The demons may have me trapped for now,
But their power over me, I'll disavow,
For I know deep down, I am strong,
And I'll fight until I break free from this throng.
So I'll keep on fighting, keep on believing,
That one day, my soul will start healing,
And the demons that once held me down,
Will be defeated, and I'll wear victory's crown.
