ECHOES (Poem)

Alvan is my name

I am an embodiment of pain

one whose heart love has slain

it has left nothing but bitterness

I said I don't love to fast

so I may never recover if he serves

me break fast but he said I was just been  really childish

like I have had plenty child's dish

Now see where been mature has landed me, tell me was it a crime to love him, Oh how I thought I  had found love and made Mama's dream a reality, I could hear the wedding bells

Hmm, but tell me how was I to know that all he wanted was a taste of my body, just to satisfy his dirty urge

Aaaah, Alvan you have failed me

see how you foolishly gave virgin

for a few minutes of pleasure

Someone, please help me tell mum

that I am so sorry, see, it wasn't my intention at all, for I had kept virgin for so long until I met Aakim

His words were so coated

that each time he spoke it was as if he wore me a coat

until I could no longer see the coast

He sha trick me oooh  and now I learnt patient the hard way.

Chastity is now my chase.
