UBA HAS NO CERTIFICATE ISSUES

Yesterday, the Benue State Publicity Secretary of the crisis-ridden All Progressives Congress, APC, Dan-Morgan Ihomun as well as Akume Raphael and others spent a greater part of the day running commentaries that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, gubernatorial Candidate in Benue State, Rt. Rt Hon Titus Uba  has no certificate, therefore failed to submit them to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC or even state it in his form EC-9(affidavit of personal particulars of person seeking election into the office of governor). 

On several occasions, I asked members of the opposition which of the certificates of Rt. Hon Titus Uba were they  contesting? They refused to answer this question,but rather claimed that if Uba has any certificate, he would have stated it in form EC-9. 

Since they have refused to state which of the certificates they want to see, I have decided to help them with the Form EC-9 completed by Rt. Hon. Uba and submitted to INEC, which has also been uploaded on the INEC website.

If only the APC had done due diligence by contacting INEC like the PDP and other APC gubernatorial candidates  did over the non-submission of the APC membership registers of Vandeikya and Katsina-ala LGAs before dragging the APC and its disputed gubernatorial candidate to court, they wouldn't have embarked on this wild ghost chase.

The APC should be bothered over the numerous court cases confronting them from not fewer than 43 persons,bordering on the non-submission of the membership register of Vandeikya LGA, allegation by some members of  the party that the disputed gubernatorial candidate of the APC is not a member of the party as his name is not in any of the registers of the party submitted to INEC.

They should also be concerned with the the allegation of non-compliance with the extant laws guiding the conduct of direct primary election.

To my brothers in the APC, I am sorry to cut short your borrowed excitement. Attached is the Form EC-9 completed and submitted by Rt. Hon Titus Uba and uploaded on INEC website.
