It was reported yesterday that the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, travelled to London to meet the governor of Rivers State, Governor Nyesom Wike in order to settle the issue that has been happening between them, ever since the former Vice President chose Governor Ifeanyi Okowa as his running mate.
However, after the duo finished the meeting yesterday, the outcome of the meeting was not revealed to the newsmen who were at the venue but, a source who was present during the meeting has disclosed the outcome to Punch correspondent.
Information that was given by the source, who spoke under the condition of anonymity said that, after the meeting between the PDP candidate and the Rivers State Governor yesterday, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar finally agreed to meet all of Wike's demands and that, he would also sign an undertaken.
Before yesterday's meeting, it was made known that that Wike demanded that the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Senator Iyorchia Ayu should resign from his position because he is a northerner and also, Atiku will only go for one term if he wins next year's election.
We are still waiting for the outcome of the Meeting to be disclosed to the newsmen.
