Family members, Nollywood actors and actresses, and others are in a reflective mood as Baba Suwe is laid to rest.


 To Thursday, family members, Nollywood actors, and actresses descended on the Ikorodu house of the renowned comedian, Babatunde Omidina, commonly known as Baba Suwe, to offer him a proper burial in line with Islamic rituals.


The comedian's remains were put to rest at his house in the Ewu-Elepe axis of the state's Ikorodu Local Government Area in a tomb dug near that of his wife, Monsurat, commonly known as Moladun Kenkelewu.


Some of his colleagues and seniors in the Yoruba film business, including Adebayo Salami, also known as Oga Bello, Bolaji Amusan, also known as Baba Latin, Yinka Quadri, Mrs. Fausat Balogun, well known as Madam Saje, and Dele Odule, were present at his home.



Residents, supporters, and other close allies of Baba Suwe were also present to offer their respects.



Emotions ran high as his ashes were ultimately deposited, with many family members, admirers, and others present.
