The Unimaginable Word

Release your tension down and listen attentively to the insight that is about to unveil itself before you. It is strongly believed that it will give you access to reality and portray possibility in your mind.  And never you doubt the power and capability of your ear, an access to impossibility is an ear that can hear. This message got to me through the new Dawn. As the wind howls the trees sway and danced at the melody of the sang birds. My ears were wide opened just nothing I could hear for my attention was far off where I was.

"Listen! And pay attention to the matters of your life" Mr.Dan tapped me and continued "do you know that 99.9 failure on earth are victims of poor listening skills?" He asked.

I looked away from the beautiful blossomed of the flowers and asked "how?"

Hmm..., "little wonder, your ear is the door way to reality and success in life because what you pay attention to have the capacity to change and uplift you and never give you chance to make your choice," He said.

What are you saying Mr. Dan, does that means my ears can make me failed?

"Don't quote me wrong. Your ears can't make you fail but your hearing can make you fail. 70% of the people that made it today, made it through paying perfect attention to the issue of their lives, businesses, academic and relationship. That was while I said " attention for distinction " if you must come out in fly colours, you must pay good attention to your lectures to be the best," He responded.

"Do you mean that success is determines by the level of my listening skills?" I asked.

"Yes! It is capital YES. Every successful man or woman is the product of good listener

Deep listening is an act of surrender. We risk being changed by what we hear. When I really want to hear another person's story, I try to leave my preconceptions at the door and draw close to their telling. I am always partially listening to the thoughts in my own head when others are speaking, so I consciously quiet my thoughts and begin to listen with my senses. Empathy is cognitive and emotional to inhabit another person's view of the world is to feel the world with them. But I also know that it's okay if I don't feel very much for them at all. I just need to feel safe enough to stay curious. The most critical part of listening is asking what is at stake for the other person. I try to understand what matters to them, not what I think matters. Sometimes I start to lose myself in their story. As soon as I notice feeling unmoored, I try to pull myself back into my body, like returning home. As Hannah Arendt says, 'One trains one's imagination to go visitting.' When the story is done, we must return to our skin, our own worldview, and notice how we have been changed by our visit. So I ask myself, What is this story demanding of me? What will I do now that I know this?"

Wow...! It means Listening is one of the most important skills you can have. How well you listen has a major impact on your job effectiveness, and on the quality of your relationships with others.?"

"Exactly. Hearing as the physiological process of attending to sound within one’s environment; listening, however, is a focused, concentrated approach to understanding the message a source is sending. Learning how to be an effective listener has numerous advantages. First, effective listening can help you become a better student. Second, effective listening can help you become more effective in your interpersonal relationships. Third, effective listening can lead others to perceive you as more intelligent. Lastly, effective listening can help you become a stronger public speaker. There is a saying that “information is power” and I said information is the engine board of transformation and the light or insight to realty. Your life is at the mercy of the information you receive, what you hear is what you believe and what you believe is capable enough to influence and transform you." He Responded tranquilly.

"Hmm, life is indeed a mystery and if you must succeed, you must learn the secretes behind it. Mr. Dan, you're indeed a product of good listener I guessed."

"My dear, the journey of tomorrow starts today, if you must succeed listen to these key points which i called "The Benefits of Listening skills"

Listening should not be taken for granted. Before the invention of writing, people conveyed virtually all knowledge through some combination of showing and telling.

#You Become a Better Student When you focus on the words used in a lecture, their emphasis and their more complex meanings. You will take better notes, and you will more accurately remember the instructor’s claims, information, and conclusions.

#You Become a Better Friend When you give your best attention to people expressing thoughts and experiences that are important to them, those individuals are likely to see you as someone who cares about their well-being. This fact is especially true when you give your attention only and refrain from interjecting opinions, judgments, and advice People Will Perceive You as Intelligent and Perceptive when you listen well to others, you reveal yourself as being curious and interested in people and events. In addition, your ability to understand the meanings of what you hear will make you a more knowledgeable and thoughtful person.
