My Figures Of Speech

Dear angel, you're my figure of speech.

An eloquent voice of mine while in speech.

You're indeed a simile,

As bright as the sky when you smile.

You're the direct comparison, a metaphor.

To my heart, you're a generator.

Babe, you're an embodiment of personification.

Your eyes are smiling with sophistication.

You're the one and whole,

A synecdoche that represents my whole life,

Followed by an antithesis.

The man proposes, the woman responds.

Dear angel, you're an euphemism,

On a dull day when the sky doesn't seem to smile,

You're a pun,

That brings me countless joy.

I believe in life's oxymoron,

In both happy and sad times, you never run.

You're indeed a verbal irony,

Sometimes breaking my heart, sometimes make it sweet like candy.
