By his spoken words
He brought to light
This Marvelous world
By his spoken words
He created day and night
Oh! God is poet
"Let's make man in our image"
He's the master of imagery
He speaks in poetry language
He's the king of poetry
He calls himself the light
Oh! That's pure metaphor
He claims to have all mights
But that's no hyperbole
He is mightily great
That he needs not to exaggerate
He says his words are like fire
He's the master of simile
His name is above all, higher
He's truly the master of poetry
A man after my heart
A synecdoche to David
Rivers and seas, he tears apart
He versifie poetry indeed
"Go say to Pharaoh
That I am that I am
Orders he lets my people go"
Pharaoh almost said No
But God's poetry made him calm
"I am the alpha and the omega"
Imagery embracing symbolism
"I am also a consuming fire"
He refuses to use euphemism
"You must die to live"
Here he speaks of eternal life
"And you must live to die"
Here he speaks of the earthly life
God is the master of paradox
In the beginning was the word
And the word was with God
And the world was God
Before Abraham was his son
Give out to the master of paradox
"If men refuse to praise
I will from these stones raise
Great men that will praise"
Wow! Personification in action
Show me another poet greater
Than the alpha and omega
"Before you were born
I have already formed
thee even right in the womb
What a marvelous inspiration
God is simply poetry in action
He's called the unchangeable changer
That sounds like an oxymoron
Creatures tend to play the moron
When they dare to dare the maker
Can the clay question the potter?
He asks a rhetorical question
Creatures questioning the creator
May just be ironical
He speaks his words in lines
His thoughts are well versed
Give it out to the poet so divine
His poetic words are not rehearsed
From the start he knows the future
He teases men with his wonders
He must have a sense of humor
He makes men to live happily after
