GALLOPING TO A HOMELESS HOME

Darkness threatens as

 Burdens of memories and quest of

Homeless home hopelessly

Huddled under dusky eves;

Seeking for shelter till the dawn.

When they espyed the star,

The echoes of the roaring thunder

Birthed fear and vague impressions of home fluttering deep.

The birds singing sweetly choral songs of furlong land

In the hidden trees as one

Searching for a place to call home

In the dungeon, where

Hope and Faith feed

The undying hunger

As it hits them like a hammer of a Carpenter.

The language of abnormality

Glue in tongue, never to taste

The savour of the reality envisaged–

But clinched to the sozzled lips

Of a Jezebel.

Galloping through their path

With hunting eyes they scorned;

Seldom for a home:

Homeless home

Where they feed with chains.

Yes! Homeless home:

A place where citizens were savaged,

gerontocracy is gut-wrenching.

The hounding of a home stare

Brightly like a lamp of a hunter.

They gnawed tight until the day breaks

In a place they call home.
