THE INSIDER

Behind closed doors, they make their plans,

The Nigerian leaders, a shadowy clan.

No longer do they serve the people,

Their corruption now runs steeples.

Lined pockets and hidden deals,

Behind closed doors, they make their steals.

Out of touch and out of reach,

Their ulterior motives now they preach.

No accountability or justice here,

This is the politics they revere.

The people are shut out of sight,

They are kept in bondage day and night.

Behind closed doors, they deceive and lie,

Ignoring the cries of the people try.

The voice of the people falls on deaf ears,

Their bright future now full of fears.

But one day, when the door opens wide,

The truth will be revealed across the divide.

Justice will then be seen to prevail,

And Nigeria's future will no longer fail.
