Hon. Barr. Agustin Ankeli Echo (Village lawyer), one of the aspirants of the Benue State Deputy governorship candidate in just concluded 2023 general elections from Apa/Agatu constituency of Benue South Senatorial District, who lost to Dr. Sam Odeh is said to have donated food items and also sympathize with the people of chumekwu who were recently attacked by suspected fulani herdsmen.
Barr. Echo visited the affected community with other of his friends and supporters.
This was revealed earlier today 20/06/2023 by the townspeople after the donation of numerous items to the entire community.
Barr. Echo (village lawyer) was excitedly welcomed by the people of chumekwu community and described his visit as "Hope of the hopeless" a demonstration by a man with the interest of the people at heart.
Village rights activist Barr. Ankeli Abu Echo, who was in Ochumekwu village yesterday to make donation of food items and to sympathize with the traditional ruler and the entire community on the recent attacks that led to the death of many people in the community. He did not just sympathize with them but also empowered them.
However, while addressing the people of the community he encouraged them to be law abiding and vigilant at all time and never to take laws in their hands.
Barr. Echo was warmly received alongside with his friends.
