But It Is All Vanity (Poem)

But we keep pursuing vanity

we chase mundane as if we have no sanity

we forget everything about sanctity

human blood became a ritual entity

we turn against our brothers

Heartlessly watching them suffer

Discouraging words we sputter

In attempt to push them into gutter

But in all the nooks and crannies

we have Mosque and churches

That preach incessantly to masses

in order to share love not punches

sadly, some we call friends

Are just a disguising fiends

waiting for our failures

in order to make it trend

what about our political situation

it threw us into confusion

I loss my dream of being a pilot

now, I'm an instigator of riot

Do you still remember the Leggi tollgate

that night I lifted my cigarette

every where was painted with red paints

not  paints but the blood of the electorates

they hurt us to our throat

And abandoned the case like an old coat

A lawless country like mine

Ceased to exist a long time

Nothing  is permanent, please rest

No need claiming superiority

please jettison that ideology

it is all pursuance of Vanity

please hold strong your sanity

that is your entity as a human

life is as temporary as a cheating wife

life is sacrosanct, Don't kill your self

let us love while we are still living

we love by giving

not by deceiving

not by celebrating those leaving.

We will get old one-day

Death will embrace us

But with love

We will see our selves above
