Brave Love (Poem)

 

Brave Love

You did not deny me,

When everyone did.

You did not mock me, when others did.

I thought I was alone when I heard the taunts,

But I just saw you, you were just silent.

I thought within me, why are you different?

Though you were not defending me openly, but that was enough to cheer me.

I felt happy within me that someone cared.

As long as you did not side them, that was enough.

I was so hungry, no one fed.

You tried to help me,

But you just want them to go away.

It's not that you lacked the courage, I love it that way.

I'm glad you cared, that is enough.

I may lose my life in the process but knowing that you love me gives me an extra strength and courage.

I pray to God to create a chance.

I have to be strong, because you cared.

That's so caring, it lifted my burdens.

I am so gladdened,

Like a Rose in the garden.

No matter the thorns,

I feel the flowers,

No matter the Scorns,

I still got powers.

Though you say nothing,

but I am noting,

With the pen in my heart.

And when I thought you've cared enough, You did not hold it any longer, you felt for me, I'm so grateful.

You became stronger, you fought for me,

Like a good Lawyer, you were so loyal.

Loyal to justice, loyal to truth.

You proved my foes to be liars. You were so loyal, like Biblical Ruth.

I don't know how to repay this but I am praying that all that you desire wil be granted by the Messiah.
