MHR, SAMUEL GODDAY HONOURED BY ST. JOHN'S SECONDARY SCHOOL, AMOKE.



The Honourable Member representing Apa/Agatu Federal Constituency of Benue State, Hon. Samuel Odagboyi Godday, was today honoured by his Alma mater, St. John's Secondary School, Amoke in Apa Local Government Area as part of the events marking the golden jubilee anniversary of the school, which remains one of the best within the Benue South Senatorial District.



The award of recognition of service and contribution to the growth and development of the prestigious citadel of learning that has produced outstanding personalities across the Idoma nation and beyond was presented to the people's Honourable by Bishop Michael Ekwoyi Apochi, bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Otukpo. 


Other recipients of this meritorious award include, the pioneer principal of St. John's Secondary School, Amoke, Rev. Fr. Vincent Griffin and his Vice, Mr. Christopher Negedu alongside a former rector of Benue State Polytechnic, Ugbokolo, Prof. Hyacinth Oluma, a renowned professor of biological sciences and finally, our very owned refined Professor of history, Armstrong Adejo.



Presenting the award to the Honourable Member, Bishop Apochi hailed Hon. Godday for his numerous contributions to the growth and development of the Idoma nation, while praying for more strength from Divinity upon the people's Honourable to keep up the good works.



Worthy of note, are some of the contributions of the Reps Member to the overall growth and development of the school which include; 


✓ The payment of all outstanding bills for students' WAEC fees

✓ The renovation of blocks of classrooms within the school

✓ The provision of a solar-powered motorized borehole within the school


Indeed, it is an honour well deserved!!! 

To God be the glory, Apa/Agatu Federal Constituency is in safe hands.
