Hon. Godday Samuel CELEBRATS NIGERIA AT 62; A JOURNEY OF GRACE

My heartfelt joy knows no bounds as I felicitate with Nigerians and in particular, the good people of  Apa/Agatu Federal Constituency on this year's Independence Day celebration.

Having clocked 62 years of national freedom from our colonial masters, this great nation have continued to grow tall in the committee of nations, recording various strides within the African continent and beyond.

Indeed, it's an amazing journey of God's Grace for our country; meandering through various stages and differs challenges by harnessing our collective efforts and  patriotic spirit, living in relative harmony as one entity despite our differences in religion, ethnicity and cultural values.

My dear countrymen and women, we may not have attained our desired destination just yet, but achieved several successes that should serve as encouragements for all of us. Nigeria has a great destiny and we must continue to strive towards sustaining the legacies of our heroes past while keeping faith with the future generation.

The spirit of fair treatment, religious, ethnic and cultural tolerance as well as mutual respect for one another must be maintained at all times by all and sundry. The love for humanity and shared commitment to national service must abide in us as we go about our daily struggles, putting Nigeria first in all we do.

To my fellow constituents of Apa/Agatu, I remain appreciative of your unwavering support and prayers towards myself and other leaders from the constituency.

As the 2023 elections draw closer with campaigns ongoing, I admonish us to remain focused on the real issues that will uplift the constituency beyond the shores of underdevelopment, infrastructural deficits and poverty, rather than distracting ourselves with the overzealousness and desperations of politicians.

Finally, I congratulate all Nigerians home and abroad, the leadership of the 9th National Assembly and in particular, the Honourable Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila as well as the good people of Apa/Agatu Federal Constituency on the 2022 Independence Day Celebration.

Long Live, The Federal Republic of Nigeria,

Long Live, Benue State,

Long Live, Apa/Agatu Federal Constituency.

Signed:

MHR, Samuel Odagboyi Godday

Representing Apa/Agatu Federal Constituency.
