Hon. Idris Audu: A Man With Different Political Ideologies

The trending and watchword of politics and politicians in the part of the Africa and Nigeria today, is that of stay tight to power of patriots who neither recognize God as their source of existence or political career is ok one of the major changes facing the nation as we speak.

These trends can be virtually traced to local, state and to the national political spheres in Africa and Nigeria in particular. It is no news that we have had senators and political office holders who vehemently glued to power for sixth years in Nigeria, their usual excuses is that their people are still yearning for more of them. Well, that is never true because such political office holders have taken advantage of their unsuspecting people to root themselves beyond the proclaimed power to the people's anthem of democracy and political formations. This becomes the major problem that thwart the development of this nation Nigeria from exhibiting the magnitude as the gaint of Africa.

A little glance on the antecedent of Hon. Idris Audu, the flag bearer of the All Progressive Congress (APC)  Benue State House of assembly, Agatu local government area will often leave one with utter amazement as his political ideologies are quite different, transforming, Democratic, innovative, Capacity and Human Capital development, and without gross attachment to remain vehemently glue to power.

A man  who took the bounden of his people and left the places of honor and have for the sake of the common people, is putting up enough courage to fight the so called “powers that be” as he knows power can't be gotten and sustained through human wisdom and greed but the wisdom of God the giver of power. Hon. Idris Audu is going through tough times to make sure 2023 becomes a new Agatu and a dream comes through for them.

Hon. Idris Audu has displayed his God fearing act throughout his journey and working towards the greatness that is meant to be their heritage as the Peace rehabilitation.

Recently at a meeting with the political stakeholders, I watched with ultmost awe as people cannot maintain the tin line between politics of interest and the collective interest of their State. Some among the so called educated whose reasoning faculties seem enlarged were also victims of this menace of “political foe syndrome”.

However, I was surprised at the gesture from Hon. Idris Audu, who smiles broadly throughout the event, then finally took the podium to address the stakeholders.

Hon. Idris Audu, Stood and address the issues of “politics of acrimony” a great matter of concern that has delayed the State and Nigeria at large from meeting up with their political demands of the 21st century.

A political idea where it holds, “if you do not support me no good can come out of you, I won’t appreciate even if you turn my compound to a floor of gold, we are not in the same party, or religion so everything good you do is still nothing”. No wonder, opposition in Nigerian politics does not end at the field, they will do everything within their reach to make your efforts count but little, all in the name of party and sometimes religion.

Distinguished Ladies and Gentlemen, the 2023 general elections are just around the corner. Soon the atmosphere will be charged with politics and politicking activities.

I appeal to all politicians and their supporters to conduct themselves with the utmost sense of maturity and responsibility. Politics is not a do-or-die affair; on the contrary, it is a competition of ideologies and seeking for power in which citizens are allowed to make their choices freely without any inhibition or intimidation. Let the opportunity being given to individuals to vote the person of his/her choice as this is the so core value of democracy.

It is in this regard that I appeal to the great youths of Benue State to be wary of any party, any group of persons, any politician, or any individual that will try to entice them into becoming political thugs and perpetrators of election irregularities. SAY NO to such politicians! Your right is to cast your vote for the person of your choice to ensure free and fair election come 2023.

To fellow politicians, I appeal to all of you again to endeavor to play the political game by the rules and not by violence.

We must always remember that God is the ultimate giver of power and the power use in the favour of the Messe and not to oppress them. For God alone decides who should lead His people. Let us, therefore, turn to Him to guide us right in the way we should conducts our political activities as we transit to a new set of leaders come 2023.

That is heart that every Nigerian should have, we have different interest, if I do not support you maybe because your views are different from mine, all of that ends during the electioneering periods, once a winner is declared and it’s fair, let’s imitates the Goodluck Jonathan style who in 2015 congratulated Buhari and made a political history recognized him world wide. There is no trace of him (Jonathan) trying to jeopardize the present administration in anyway, that’s wisdom.

My opinion is to challenge Agatu local government area and Benue State at large to adhere to free and fair election come 2023.

Hon. Idris Audu, the yearning of Agatu......

Hon. Idris Audu, the grassroot developer.....

Hon. Idris Audu, our choice 2023

Hon. Idris Audu is a GOAL.........
