The Honourable Member representing Apa/Agatu Federal Constituency of Benue State, Hon. Samuel Odagboyi Godday, in company with his wife, Elizabeth Samuel was at the International Conference Centre, Abuja as a guest of honour for the Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida Annual Legacy Dialogue.
The event was organised by The Ibrahim and Mariam Babangida Presidential Library Foundation, Abuja.
According to the Chief Executive Convener, HE. Aisha Babangida, The
IBB LEGACY DIALOGUE is a platform for leadership development for the
African continent which encourages students of
history and political science to analyze the impact of good
policies on the growth of the Continent.
Noting that this year's discussion focuses on the
Nigeria’s 2023 transitional election and
the issues surrounding the triumphs
and travails of democracy in the
country.
The occasion which was chaired by His Excellency,
Arc. Mohammed Namadi Sambo (GCON)
former Vice President of the
Federal Republic of Nigeria, had in attendance, notable leaders and astute business owners from various parts of the country and beyond including, Malam Muhammad Musa Bello, the Honourable Minister, Federal Capital Territory, Aminu Babangida, Muhammed Babangida, Muhammed Murtha, Hon. Muhammed Gololo amongst others.
Speaking to newsmen, the Honourable Member applauded the organisers of the lecture headed by HE. Aisha Babangida for creating avenues such as this for Nigerians, particularly those around the corridors of power and leadership as well as the younger generation to convene and x-ray the country's political atmosphere with a common goal of adding values as true agents of national development.
