Aminu Tambuwal, the governor of Sokoto State, has been described as a more qualified presidential candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party by a former governor of the state, Attahiru Bafarawa.
Tambuwal, according to Bafarawa, is more qualified to win the party's presidential nomination because of his political antecedents and ability to coordinate people.
This was stated by Bafarawa during Tambuwal's consultations in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State.
Tambuwal, the former Governor of Sokoto State, added that if given the opportunity to lead Nigeria, he would fit into all branches of government.
"Tambuwal was not only a legislator but also a lawyer
by profession, which means he fits into the judiciary and at the same
time," he said. same time, today he is a sitting governor serving his
second term.
“This is to tell you that Tambuwal fits into all the three
arms of government. Therefore, he is more credible for the presidential ticket.
“That’s why we are here to take him to where we want him to be, not where he wants to be.”
