Some critical Nigerian government websites have remained offline due to a serious technological issue.
It was learned that the outage had interrupted the services and information given by the agencies and parastatals for several weeks, causing consumers to become dissatisfied.
As of Tuesday afternoon, at least six websites, including those of the Presidential Office and the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), were down. All of the impacted sites displayed an error notice that said, "This site cannot be contacted."
The Budget Office of the Federation, Open Treasury, Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), Nigeria Police Force (NPF), and the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation were also affected (OSGF).
