The people of Apa and Agatu described honourable Godday Samuel as the hero of democracy who demonstrated the real act of democracy in liberating the good people of the constituency from the empty promises of past representatives and bringing them to Highlands and beauty of Apa and Agatu to the standard.
Hon. Godday Samuel exhibited the leader of the people for the people and by the people has changed the impression of stay tight to the office, self-interest and selfishness rolled the stone of poor development, lack social amenities, bad roads, poor electricity tariffs and bad water supply within the few years in office. The people of the constituency lavishly expresses their heartfelt appreciation to Hon. Godday for his unexplainable efforts towards development, infrastructural facilities and employment in the constituency. He is doing great good by giving the people hope and better lives. it is a thing of a shock to everyone as the appointment came when it seems to be no hope.

They were encouraging each other to keep praying and supporting this great administration to succession as that is his intention.
Calling honourable Godday Samuel the hero of democracy is not propaganda but have been empowering the masses in collaborating with small and medium enterprises Development Agency (SMEDAN trained and empowered no fewer than fifteen women within the constituency and Benue State at large This action was targeted at creating jobs for the participants from the State and see how he can growed people to the standard and minimize poverty.
The hero democracy has built comfortable and well-equipped schools across the local government Areas making learning easy for the students in their various levels which results have been reflected positively as the local government Areas' performance in National exams such as WAEC and UTME has improved tremendously over years.
It is again on record how over 15 bridges were reconstructed, different roads were approved and are under construction, supplying electricity to different villages within the constituency. And many other visible and undeniable projects going on right now all powered by Hon. Godday Samuel.
The hero of democracy is not just having the people in mind but also knowing their needs and having been working passionately to make sure Apa and Agatu constituency enjoy every bit of development and governmental benefits.
