AFCON 2021: This Is More Important For Me – Mane Speaks After Winning Title With Senegal


 


Sadio Mane, a Senegalese forward, has said that winning the Africa Cup of Nations trophy on Sunday was the best moment of his life.

 

The 29-year-old was instrumental in the Teranga Lions' first-ever continental title, which they won on penalties after a 0-0 stalemate in normal and extra time.

 

Mane scored the game-winning penalty after Egypt goalie Gabaski saved his initial attempt.

 

Mane won the Premier League championship in 2020, the Champions League in 2019, the Uefa Super Cup in 2019, and the Fifa Club World Cup in 2019. He joined Liverpool from Southampton in 2016.

 

But, in his opinion, the AFCON title is the most significant.

 

“I am very proud and I think it is the best moment of my.
