On the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, a tanker explosion kills five people.

 Five individuals were killed in a fuel tanker explosion on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway on Wednesday morning.

The event occurred in the early hours of Wednesday, according to Ahmed Umar, the commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Ogun.

According to him, the accident occurred at 4:46 a.m. at the Tunji Alegi filling station in the Kwakyama region of Ogere, Ogun State.
