Rector, Supervises Mass Communication Department



The Taraba state polytechnic rector Bdhr.  Ayub justa Ibrahim has visit the department of mass communication student to ensure thorough academy syllabus covered and no one left out,  which was confirm by the student that almost all the lecture  have covered their curriculum . 


Speaking with the student of the department on Tuesday, 11th October 2021


He said "I have gathered reports that some student have not paid their school fees because  they ate the morning  that was given to them for school in the first place,  and for such a thing to strictly treated he said MIS have provide a Ecard for the the student that have paid their school fees". 


He further reveal that school fees have been added from 20,000 to 25,000 thousand naira as late payment and another 5,000 would be added if they fail those that have eaten the one their parent gave them in the first place ". 


Ask if there we're some challenges  face by the student,  Amos joseph one of the student said" inadequate lecture  halls and student are battling with shares". 


The rector clearly stated that he is working toward it into and in no distance  time there will be available  lecture halls,  thou some challenges we are having is that student don't maintain absolute and proper order in times of seats, that some time engineer's came to repair the faulty chairs just right after he finished  some unknown  student came and pull out the chairs.


A student said the department does not not have FM studio, the rector however reveal that there have in the past two years provide the FM studio and that his working in line with the department  HOD mr. Linus m. Ngantem which very soon would covers areas as to aid student ability in the transmission of message and raising potential well trained future journalist. 


However, as the exams will be starting on 18th October 2021 he urge  the students to shun exam malpractice and come out better with good grades.
