MESSIAH Of Apa, Hon. Godday Samuel Empowers Apa/Agatu Women



The Honourable Member representing Apa/Agatu Federal Constituency of Benue State in collaboration with The Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (SMEDAN) has trained and empowered by no fewer than fifteen women from Apa and Agatu Local Government Areas.

The people gather in their numbers fully ready for participate in the training/skills acquisition program.



The training/skills acquisition program organised by the Agency lasted for five days in Makurdi, the Benue State capital and had in attendance, other participants from the state.

The attendees were engaged in intensive practical sessions in various trades and vocations.


According to the representative of SMEDAN, the program is aimed at creating jobs for the participants through the comprehensive trainings as well as presentation of starter equipment to enable attendees commence their respective small scale businesses like hair dressing, tailoring, catering, etc and become employers of labour.



Speaking on behalf of the Honourable Member, his Senior Legislative Aide, Hon. Ben Ekah enjoined the beneficiaries to maximize the opportunity by judiciously utilizing the skills and knowledge acquired from the program in the last five days for their personal as well as societal benefits. He noted that they can thrive in their respective areas of learning through unrelenting commitment and hard work.

Resting to this, the people of Apa/Agatu women expresses their heartfelt gratitude to God for the life of who God is using to bless and liberate the hungry and under privileges, in the person of Hon. Goddday Samuel.
