The community of Tiv students under the leadership of Comrade Akaater Msughter Michael today led a delegation to see the Tor Tiv HRM Prof James Ortese Iorzua Ayatse(Highest traditional office in Northern central Nigeria) the delegation includes Comr Buna Tersoo Simeon Vice president, TT AGEE Sec Gen, Ume Terhemen Solomon asst. Secretary, Iorhemba Catherine National Kumashe and Erdoo Kuma Director of women affairs few among others. Akaater Michael presented the Tiv Students Summit committee to his Majesty.
The leadership of the committee under the chairmanship of Comrade TT AGEE also presented the summit cap to his majesty for endorsement.
His majesty in his usual style lauded the whole idea and gave his royal blessings towards the summit and promised his sincere support.
His Majesty also admonishes the students to shun cultism, gangsterism and hypocrisy. He noted that in his days unionism was geared towards unity, development and sociocultural advancement as such we should emulate the good old days.
He approved the 9th of October 2021 for the summit venue at Tiv traditional council. These were few amongst many other issues discussed.
