The president National Association of Ankpa students, kogi state university chapter. Comrade Suleiman Abubakar, expresses his gratitude over this  position as the  president of  National Association of Ankpa students, kogi State university chapter.

 Also Grateful to the students of this prestigious university, for their  warmly support which enable me emerged  as the President of Ankpa students . I remain indebted to your unwavering enthusiasm, support and respect for this great previlage to serve.

The university abiding belief that this position is an important instrument of transformation to our city, county, and region which made it clear that the students understand the nature of this wonderful seat and l was anxious to advance the partnerships and connectivity vital to academics success.

I pledge that I will do all that I can to take the University down this path and redeem the faith of  the people which was  placed on me and nothing less will I offer than success of the students, the school, the state and the country at large.

All these stated objectives cannot be achieved without your support, your commitment, your focus, your hardwork and your fate put together. I urge us to come together as one family to take our state, school, town and nation higher to her  dream point.

MY ADVICE:

To promote love , unity, peace and progress among all ethnic groups.

#Bribery and corruption should be eradicated.

#shun examination malpractice in all ramifications.

= Don't put off until tomorrow what you can do today. For procrastination is a grave in which opportunities are buried. Avoid it...

= Work should come before pleasure . Manage your time effectively; set up a timeline for getting word completed in each of your courses. Set aside adequate time for homework, study, sleep, relationships, and work. You need not always finish every task all at once.

= Set high personal and academic standards for yourself, and live up to them. Listen to that little voice inside you that says, “I can do this.” Believe in yourself. Realize that school is work; it's not play time. Take your studies as your best friend and games. To show people that there is power and voice in pen that can speak louder than speaker.

Have a Listening ear, I understood her sentiment. The core functions of a university are teaching and research, and professors are the primary providers of these functions. But a lot of learning happens outside the classroom too, in an environment managed by university administrators, kept clean by janitors, made beautiful by gardeners, made safe by security personnel. As a leader, I have decided to care about everyone, see everyone, speak to everyone, respect everyone. It works for me, and I recommend this approach to you as you set forth on your careers.

As you go about your careers, Class of 2021 be sure not to get so busy that you don’t recognize the support of your follow student, or your friends in getting you where you are. Be sure to recognize the invaluable efforts of those who work quietly with you, performing essential functions.

Congratulations, Class of 2021. We are all proud of you, and we are all hopeful for you. We look forward to working alongside you, supporting your missions in life, and helping you make a dent in this world. Godspeed.
